Westerly Land Trust Programs & Outreach Coordinator

The Westerly Land Trust seeks a creative, organized, and enthusiastic team member to become our Programs and Outreach Coordinator. Bachelor’s degree in education, environmental sciences, or the equivalent in conservation- related experience. Must have the ability to implement programs and events, including logistical planning, volunteer management, and community engagement. The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on grant writing and grant management. The candidate must be able to seek out opportunities for educational programming, and build strong partnerships with schools and other nonprofit organizations. The candidate will represent WLT to the community, and therefore must have excellent interpersonal skills. Social media expertise and web-based outreach experience preferred.

Must possess an understanding and appreciation of the value and importance of conservation and preservation. In the conduct of all these duties, the ideal candidate maintains positive relationships and open communications with other staff members, and abides by WLT’s confidentiality policies.

This is a part-time position for 30 hours per week which reports to the Executive Director.
