Rhode Island Fruit Growers Association

RIFGA began in 1913 with a group of dedicated apple orchardists from Providence and Kent Counties. Over the years, RIFGA has expanded to include growers of many tree fruits as well as berries. Throughout the season our members have the support and assistance of the Cooperative Extension of University of Rhode Island and of University of Massachusetts. Their continuous research and fieldwork aid and advance our farmers’ ability to produce healthy, savory fruit.
