NBC’s mission is to maintain a leadership role in the protection and enhancement of water quality in Narragansett Bay and its tributaries by providing safe and reliable wastewater collection and treatment services to its customers at a reasonable cost. It owns and operates the two largest wastewater treatment facilities in Rhode Island: the Bucklin Point Wastewater Treatment Facility in East Providence and the Field’s Point Wastewater Treatment Facility in Providence. The NBC also has an award-winning education program and provides tours of its treatment facilities for grades 3 and above.
