What’s your favorite outdoor place in Rhode Island, and why?
Any rocky shore along Narragansett Bay – It feels like home. 🙂
How did you get involved with the environmental field?
In my former career, we rented office space at Save The Bay. I soon realized what an incredible organization it was and when I was offered the opportunity to work there, I enthusiastically said yes!
What’s your favorite environmental fact to share?
Did you know that horseshoe crabs are a prehistoric animal? They are! They are amazing animals!
What has been your favorite memory of working with RIEEA?
My favourite memory is from our last Annual Summit. The theme was storytelling and in the beginning of the keynote speech, every participant joined hands in a huge circle while we participated in a circle dance. I loved seeing the expressions on people’s faces and the immediate connection that storytelling has on people.
