The 2023 Summit, Storytelling to Connect With Your Audience, was held Saturday, March 4, from 8am to 12pm at Rhode Island College.
The day’s agenda included food, discussion, and professional development. The keynote address from author, educator, storyteller, and Narragansett Tribal Leader, Wanda Hopkins, was on sharing stories, and how we can use them to better connect with our audiences. Small groups practiced storytelling ourselves, and discussed how storytelling can be used as a tool in our own work. It was a great opportunity to connect with organizations, educators, and advocates from across the state.
Thank you to all who attended!
